great product, I don't know how it would be turning over a stock compression bike with a stock starter, but with my higher compression bike with a stock starter I would be dead in the water without compression releases, but this is just what I needed

Put this ring gear and pinion gear on my 2003 Fatboy and they have worked out great. Had starting issues and combined with an All Balls starter have solved my problems, highly recommend this kit.
