Grandpa loved it!!It was much bigger than we expected, we all had a great laugh. Instead of replacing his mailbox, grandpa installed it next to his garage to keep some fishing gear in :)

As a bass fisherman I love this! I had to order a new mailbox due to mine getting hit and destroyed. I didn't look at the size when ordering as I just expected it to be a normal mailbox size - wrong :). This is very long and it's hilarious. When putting on a 4x4 post, you might want to round the corners though so this can sit flush on the post/arm. Otherwise due to the rounding of the bottom of the fish this won't sit flush on the wood. So shave off the edges on the 4x4 and you should be good. This has held up to 30+ mph so far, only time will tell how long she'll last!

I got this for my mom for Christmas she loved it so much its been 2 years and she refuses to put it outside because she's afraid it will fade LOL its a beautiful mail box!

This is our third, the first one purchased through Amazon, the other two in the Keys. My only complaint is that the paint peels off over time (hence the three identical mailboxes over 20 years). I am saving this one as long as I can before replacing our current "Bass" for that reason. Maybe I can buy paint that adheres to the plastic and touch them up, when they peel. I live in Florida.

Bought this item because of previous mailbox of the same type. I had the bass mailbox previously for over 8 years with minimal fading, chipping, and loss of color. The previous one was made in the U.S.A. The one I recently received appeared the same until a week after it was installed. The paint was coming completely off, the paint flaked off like crazy. It seems no primer was added prior to final paint. I noticed also that the newer version was now made in China, which explains quality. I have repainted my old one and most likely will repaint the new one. Recommended if you do get this item. Seal it as soon as it comes out of the box, because as soon as it hits fresh air the paint will start to flake off.

Bought for my boyfriend for father's day. He loved it. The first one was cracked, and the seller immediately sent out a new one, and a box with shipping label for the one that was damaged.Excellent experience with this seller !The mailbox was finally installed a couple of months ago, and it looks great. Let's see if it lasts through our rough winter !EDITED TO ADD ! A lot of these reviews make comments on the finish peeling and cracking/fading and so on after a month or so. Strong word of advise ! Invest in some clear coat protectant for this mailbox !This is an awful lot of money to NOT protect your purchase. We sprayed it before installing, and have not had any issues yet !

This thing is HUGE. My neighbors will hate it but we love it. The one I intended to order was not going to arrive in time for Christmas so I got the Large one and didn't check the specifications. I haven't put it out yet because we have to get a new post. We love to fish and this suits our family. It seems indestructible too!***UPDATE*** After a few months it did start to chip and peel. It is pretty much just white plastic now (3 years later), I just ordered a new one and will be clear coating it. We really love this mailbox and get lots of compliments on it.
