I really wanted to like this, I love science fidget toys, but the little wood shavings or whatever they are in there really detract from the aesthetic. For the price/size ratio, this degree of sloppiness is extremely disappointing.

For $20-30, I could see myself being happy with this thing. At $110, the cost is just way too high to justify the purchase.Build quality is mediocre at best. It’s clearly a tiny jar with a metal base glued on and a bolt glued to the lid. Air bubbles in the solution show the lack of build quality.The liquid in the bottle is yellow and makes it hard to appreciate the art piece. Also, the miscellaneous floating bits detract from the look. This could have been offset some by adding lights, but I guess they just didn’t have it in the budget.This one is a pass for me.

There are two issues with it:- It is very small for its price compared to other counterparts- I do not know if it is correct for all of the products, but at least mine has a air bubble trapped in it and it is not as nicely made as the one in the pictures or video

I bought three of these as a gift for my boss’s and was going to buy one for myself. I opened one and realized how small this is. It is much smaller than I expected even though the dimensions are clearly posted on the page. I can barely see anything; there is a metal circle on top blocking visibility and because of the rounded glass container there is a reflection that makes it incredibly hard to see anything. And only because I’m the first to review this item, I am going to give it 3 stars out of sympathy. Otherwise I would definitely leave 2 stars.It works as advertised just under such a small scale it is not worth even $40
