This antenna base is better quality than the o.e. base. It is slightly hard to mount. I had to start it and then thread the antenna on to force it down.

Bought this as a replacement and it doesnt even in the hole the way it should fit. Not very pleased.

Does not slide in properly to fit the antenna slot that’s on my truck.

You really can't go wrong for a couple of bucks. Just make sure you lube it up(i use a spray polish)before you start jamming it on the antenna base.
