Works well, you need md to large hands to operate the pliers best. My hands are small, so it was a little harder to get the tool to work. I wish the j hooks were a little larger.

I used the j clips and pliers to make five Noel guards for my blue bird houses out of 1/2” hardware cloth (wire) and it did well. Hopefully it will work on 2” x 4” fence which was my main need but I haven’t tried that yet.

I am of decent hand strength, and I found that a full crimp on these clips with this tool is difficult to accomplish one handed.

My order came on the earliest estimated shipping date. The J pliers were exactly as described. The j clips are sturdy. Im a female with small hands and am able to use these with very little effort. I would highly recommend- save time and money and stay away from the chain supply stores. There's no comparison on the quality of these!

These pliers were described by some as flimsy, but I found they held the J-clips that came with my bunny caged and also crimped the larger, sturdier clips I purchased separately. I put together 12 cages with clips every 1-11/2” all way round.

I was very pleased with the quality of the pliers but even more so, the quality of the J clips! We had used the Pet Lodge wire cage clips before now and their pliers are so uncomfortable to use if you are using for more than a few simple repairs and their j clips are very thin. These pliers from RABBITNIPPLES are very comfortable and the clips are very thick and good quality!! They even make a complete and clean ring as apposed to the Pet Lodge brand. They have my business moving forward!
