I have purchased plenty of parts on Amazon for my car and this one was just poorly built. It was extremely easy to put on. The instructions on how to program the throttle body were not included in the box, I had to go back to the ad in order to get the instructions from the photo provided. There was some sort of glue coming from where the pieces where assembled and once it was on the car the RPM’s on the car would NOT go over 2K. I unfortunately had to return the product.

So happy I didn't have to spend over $400 to keep a nearly 20 year old car running. This is working great so far and installation was easy. I thought the transmission was wearing out, but the old throttle body was apparently the cause, as it drives much smoother now.

I ordered this part for my 2005 Ford Freestyle. It looks and feels just like the original. Was promised to arrive between the 6th and the 11th of February, but it arrived early–on the 4th. This was good. I installed it on the 6th, and it has been working since. It works well so far. Once again my car has power and speed.

I liked being able to buy an affordable part that is known to fail over time. Car is 13 years old and not much resale value, so, need affordable parts to keep it going. This part, so far, is working perfect. The electronic controlled throttle bodies tend to intermittently fail causing the dreaded "wrench light". This causes computer to take car out of gear and put in limp mode. Got 145,000 miles out of original, not bad. Note: Keep butterfly clean of carbon build up (from emission control breather on backside of body), this will help electric motor work in smooth, unrestricted movement throughout its range.
