Super fun robot clock that stands about a foot high and is such a great and unique item. It takes batteries that are easy to replace when needed and it stands on its own and so far has not been super easy to tip over. The colors on the metal are vibrant and it has sparked many conversations so far. Really great item for yourself or to give as a gift!

This is the most adorable robot clock! It reminds me of Wallace and Gromit. I really want to give it five stars just for the artistic quality, but I can't for two reasons.First, it came poorly packaged with a thin layer of foam wrapped around it (see picture). Since it is metal, I guess that only the clock needed protection, but I worried that something could be broken. Wrapped in the foam sheet, it was placed in an unmarked box that arrived open on both ends. I'm not talking about the shipping box, but the packaging. Fortunately, it is a very sturdy item, but I think that the nondescript packaging affects the giftability value.The other issue was the clock. There are no included directions about how to get it out, and I was terribly afraid that I would break off one of the metal clips. I used a letter opener to squeeze in each clip and jiggled the clock to get it out. That accomplished, I found that the battery didn't want to go in. When I finally got everything in place, however, it was very easy to put the clock back in.The description says that the clock is noiseless, but that is not entirely true. While there is no alarm, the second hand makes a slight ticking as it moves. It is a quiet sound which I find quite pleasant, but it is still a noise.

I am not proud to say it took three people to figure out how to open it to install a battery, but otherwise this clock is great looking, fun, solid, and well made! It’s funny now and it might look obvious, but the clock came with zero instructions and until you understand there are metal tabs it feels like you are definitely going to break it. I would recommend throwing an instruction sheet in the box, but it really is well made and I really enjoy it.

This robot clock is a lot of fun. It looks as though it's made by hand and painted by hand. It's about a foot tall. It's not mechanical in any way; it's just a battery-powered clock. The attraction is in its 1950's vibe. I'm surprised it doesn't cost more.The clock is battery operated and makes no noise. It's easy to put batteries in - just pull straight out on the clock.If you're going to have a clock around, why not something unique? I learned to place it on a higher shelf because it attracts every youngster who sees it.I love this clock. It has a permanent home on my bookshelf.

very nice for a display piece, but there's absolutely no movement of any of the joints or the head. also, i figured out how to get the clock out safely, but it did not come with any instructions on how to do this without damaging the piece. since i got it for display only, these are not particularly important points. just in case someone else has these expectations.

Even in the age of the ever-present digital, I like having an old fashioned clock on my desk to keep track of the time. My old one bit the dust, so it was time for an update, and this item just blew my mind. It reminds me of the old fashioned Mr. Robot toys from the 50s (no, I don't go back that far, but I love antique and vintage stuff.) Just adorable, fits in with all my collectibles, and makes me smile every time I look at it. The price is also excellent for the quality. I can't recommend this highly enough!

I bought this for my office and it does NOT disappoint. This is a veritable work of art even before you realize it's a clock. It's sizeable and hefty and I have it on display like a small statue, but it of course also has the (very cool) functionality of a clock. The colors are wonderful and muted, while still bright, which gives it a fun retro vibe to it. The die cast is good quality and the workings of the clock are all tucked inside the body of the robot, so every visible surface of the robot is clean and display-able. This is a really, really cool item.

A really fun robot clock--no more no less. It doesn't talk, walk, or do anything but hold a clock in ts chest but that's what I wanted and that's what I got! It's about a foot high and, as advertised, has that slightly worn/tarnished steampunk look I was after. And, of course, it tells time with an analog clock just like it should. A nice little prop and lots of fun.
