No snags so far. The weight on this one makes casting a good distance easier for beginners. The color is nice and flashy enough to attract attention. The hooks are sizeable and sharp. These feel as if they are quality made and should stand up to a season or two if not longer.

These jigs are heavy, durable, well constructed and well designed. I am hoping to add a photo with a large grouper hanging from it, very soon! The sharpness of the hook can not be undersold here, like I said, the quality is impressive. The shape of the head is very realistic and a lot of detail went into the eye design. I appreciate the glowing aspect as well. Therefore the size and color are on point.Jigs can be expensive and cheaply made, this one is neither. Good price for 2.As far as catchability? Look for that photo and then you'll know.A welcomed addition to my tackle box!

I love redfish and the fight they put up. I seem to do my best with a chartreuse jighead in the marshes of NC and SC and thought I'd give these a shot. I haven't used them in the field yet, and will update my review after I do. However, after they arrived, you can tell they are a good quality and won't bend or snap on me. The head has a unique design that does appear like it will cut a little better through snags versus the thin round jigheads that are in the bigbox sporting good stores. I can't wait to try these out.

Nice bottom sweeper jigs for sheepshead or tautog. These are well made jigs with VMC hooks. The hooks are sharp and a good size. I sheepshead fish from a kayak and these are great for putting a live fiddler crab on and getting to the bottom. They are nicely made, look good and the chartreuse color is perfect. They are a good quality and a good value.

Great little lead head!I took a quick kayak trip to my local breakwater with this lead head tied on this past weekend and was very happy with its performance. I pinned on a strip of squid and dropped it into a hole in the kelp over a rocky bottom where I've lost many similar jigs. Despite the hook being a bit larger than what I usually use, and VERY sharp, I never hooked the bottom or the kelp on any of my casts, and bonus - I pulled up a nice calico bass on my second cast!Durability remains to be seen, but the jig seems to be well built and the paint seems like it's a good quality, so I'm expecting a lot of productive fishing with these jigs, and will be getting more of them.HIGHLY recommended

Good made jigs, but paint easily peeled off.

I got these jigs for an upcoming trip to the Florida Keys to camp and fish and generally live like a beach bum for a few days. I regularly fish both salt and freshwater, and I already know these will become a favorite tool in my kit. I like weighted jigs like this for targeting Sheepshead and Mangrove Snapper, and I love that these have a hook that tends to face upward rather than pointed down like some of my less-favored jigs. The upward facing hook means this shouldn't snag on the bottom, and should keep any scent blocks/ bait on securely. The hook is sharp and a good shape for most fish I'll be targeting. The color is bright and should replicate the flash of a bait fish well. I really like the variety of weights and colors offered to target different sizes of fish.

I got these mainly for sheepshead fishing amd shallow bottom fishing in the gulf. Weight and shape is spot on. Hooks are sharp and everything is made well. Proce is a little high for just 2 of them but comparable to the ones in my local tackle shop. They will definitely do the job.
