Rock splitting wedges have been around and unchanged for a very long time. These are very well made and are quite effective and convenient with the rubber holder. They are precise and easy to place and use. I like the way they stay in place.

There's something satisfying about splitting stone the centuries-old way with wedges instead of tediously grinding away with saws, wet or dry. There's little dust and even less cursing when you simply drill a few holes and pound in these wedges until the rock ultimately splits. Having two sizes of wedges makes life a bit easier and makes stone splitting a more flexible pursuit. Welcome back to the Stone Age.
