In the past, I had bought bags that sit on top of the tube; however, they tend the lean side to side as you ride. This bag sits on top of the tube but also hangs over each side and straps under the tube. This limits the side to side sway, and the front strap secures the bag to the fork, keeping it from moving. Since it mounts by the handlebar, you can see your phone while riding, and have easy access to the items you keep in the side pouches.
