Product Description

500 Watt Power Amp high power

High Level, Raw Power!

T500-1bdCP

The Power T500-1bdCP is a full size chassis, 500-Watt mono amplifier with Constant Power, built on Rockford Fosgate’s patented Class BD technology platform. Known for the ability to produce raw power at high levels, the Power series amplifiers have been the class standard by which all others are measured.

Featuring our patented Punch EQ, delivering more bass where you want it most by allowing up to 18dB of boost adjustment at 45Hz. Also featuring superior heat dissipation capabilities, with our award winning Dynamic Thermal Management cooling design and our MEHSA3 heat management technology, resulting in 20% reduction in thermal impedance. Plus, it also features our Focused Mass technology design, keeping the amp cool and ensuring the amp continues to play even under high power and output demand.

Our Constant Power technology, results in up to 25% more power (Watts) across all impedance loads, by balancing demand versus draw between the amp and speaker. The result is a listening experience cleaner, louder and more impressive than ever before.

The frequency response of the T500-1bdCP is optimized exclusively for use with subwoofers, giving you all the power and performance with a design that is perfect for an "under-the-seat" location, giving you more room for subs!

absolutely love the amp and power output, I was disappointed a little that the amp I received was bench tested at 745 watts RMS as others were closer to the 900 watt range, but hey not complaining one bit because this amp knocks something serious on 1 12"...awesome job Rockford for coming to yet another accomplishment!!

I'll say for 1300 you get get a much bigger amp. If your looking to stay under 3kWRMS this is a good investment. Ive had mine pushing a pair of infinity 8's (now blown) soundqubed h d c 3 15, american bass xfl, crossfire c7 8's (they just gobble the power) & soon a american bass hd 12 (2000w sub) I will say it's pretty powerful, does seem like a 2500w amp tho.... there's nothing magical about it - it's pretty, the sound quality is top tier but it does get HOT. VERY HOT! I have sufficient electricall as I had a crescendo bc3500 on it before hand (4000wrms amp) and that thing stayed cool. For the 1300 dollar price tag you can spend half that and get just of a quality amp if not better (cooling capabilities) I wouldn't purchase again.

Pushing 2 10' T1's and they do great. They're installed fairly close an a place with little room to breathe, but they still stay cool enough to touch. Also, they sound awesome.

I just got mine in the mail today, shipped from magicsound.com. I upgraded from my T300-2 to this T500-1bdCP. I have it powering a single 12" Kicker CVR 12" dual-2 ohm sub. Its in a sealed box. All I can say right now is WOW....I only have it wired to 4 ohms right now and it hits so much cleaner and louder. I can crank it up and it wont distort like when I had it hooked up to the T300. This little guy doesn't even get hot after a good amount of pounding. My birth sheet say 448 at 4 ohms, 595 at 2 ohms and 792 at 1 ohm. I'm going to run it at 1 ohm here pretty soon. I sure its going to sound even better when I do. Overall, I'm really impressed with this amp, it looks awesome and feels so solid. Definitely worth the money to get a top of the line amp!!!!

Had this amp before on two cmps now on mtx thunder 5500, blew them lol soon to be upgrading to better subs. Highly recommend this amp to anyone who wants boom but not super loud . Also the thermal protection is why I love this amp, can play it all day and never overheats unlike the other amps ive own, buy this if you want a great amp for the money

This amp, so far, is truly the nicest amp I have ever owned. 36 years old and since 15 I have been hooking up car audio, custom boxes, installs, etc. I have installed some powerful amps, more powerful than this. But the sound, the look... everything is soo nice. I have it running 1 ohm on slotted Memphis PR12 4ohm DVCs in a 2010 Altima. The certificate said 790 Total RMS power. This thing is pumping some watts... clean watts. There is no way in hell I can turn this amp up more than 50 gain 50 boost in my car. It rattles everything in the car HORRIBLY! I see this amp pushing bigger and better subs easily. I can not express enough how pleased I am with this amp thus far. I have a 1 farad cap I will be putting on it, but it does not pull that bad... no major dimming of headlights. I have heard people say they are power hungry.. It does not appear to be. If you have a 600 rms setup this will do it!

Rockford has done it again. This is my 4th Rockford amp and second car that is all Rockford. I've never had any issues with their products. This 500 watt amp came with it's build sheet indicating it will produce 811 watts at 1 ohm. Who doesn't love an extra 311 watts of power?I've matched it with the loaded enclosure "Rockford Fosgate P3-1X12 600 Watts Single Rms Subwoofer Enclosure". This setup is already wired for 1 ohm so I'm using every drop of power - which might even be a bit much for the sub.It sounds incredible. I'll continue to be a Rockford customer.Make sure to get the PEQ bass knob, having adjustable levels in the driver seat is a must.
