Good thin sub box, worked perfectly for my single cab f150, with it being a smaller cab there isnt a lot of room but this sub box works good. With it being a shallow sub it wont his as hard as a normal P3 but it's still does a good job. But remember a sub is only as good as the amp

I bought two of these and an R750 amp to upgrade from my 10" R2, I thought. The speakers SUCK! They're more expensive and have a higher RMS rating but they are junk compared to the cheaper 200 watt R2. The guy at Rockford said a lot of people are disappointed when they try to upgrade just like I did. He said the R2 is a far better speaker. He said they recommend doubling up on the R2 or going straight for the P1. I suspect they will discontinue the P3S as even they admit it's crap.

Perfect fit for under the back seats of my 2014 GMC Sierra. Most importantly, they sound great too.

This is a pretty good preloaded enclosure. Considering the space I had to add a sub to my vehicle and the depth of this sub I would have to say this was a win for me. I had to play with my amps frequency a couple of days to really tune it in, and it was worth it. I will admit the bass is a more tight punchy bass with a little boom, but its installed in a truck so it doesn't take much to fill the cabin with bass. If you are looking for something for a really tight space this could be the answer. It will handle up 600W but you won't need that much power to make it sing. I'm running 300W to it and it sound really good for such a small slim enclosure. If your concern it will sound flat, don't be because it will sound great when installed properly.

This is a great subwoofer. I have it paired with a Rockford Fosgate PBR300x1 and it sounds amazing. It fits under the rear drivers side seat of my 2004 F150 Lariat Supercrew (4 door) without any modification.

such concise bass out of a small unit. wonderful! purchased this for my hatchback civic, along with a single channel amp, as i wanted better performance without sacrificing too much space, as a matter of fact, i can tuck this between the backs of the front seats and put my seats down, its like it isnt even there!

I have a 1st generation Frontier Crew Cab and the space behind the rear seat is limited at best. I gave this setup 3 stars primarily because it is probably the only pre-fab box that will fit in my truck. I compare the sound quality of this box to those found in "all-in-one box" home theatre systems. They will reproduce low frequencies but in the end you'll only be settling because of either convenience or price. The P3S-1X8 produce strong mid bass (sometimes an overwhelming drone effect) and can acheive high volume with little distortion. All being said if you have space limitations and truly just want to add a little something to your music then this setup should be fine. However if you have amplified components dont expect this to keep up.
