Purchased these in August, wife just started wearing them now that it's fall and the rubber sole on the heel split and broke on her 2nd day wearing them. We were outside the return window for Amazon. Called Rockport directly for support on a defective product and they do not offer any such support for products purchased through third-party vendors (e.g. Amazon). So we have a brand new, broken shoe with no way to rectify the situation. This really sucks. I'm leaving a well-deserved one-star review here, in hopes other folks avoid this situation and this brand.

I work in a business environment, but as I got older I started having issues with my feet. I needed to wear steel toes so the top of the shoe doesn’t rub on my toes. These are fantastic! They are more stylish than most Steel toe shoes and extremely comfortable. I wore for a full 10 hour day at the office with no problem. Came home and ordered another pair in black. Would highly recommend for comfort, style, fit was true to size, sole is slip resistant and with zippers on both sides they are very easy to put on and take off. Very happy with this purchase.

I rate this pair of shoes 5 stars!! I have about 15 pair of safety shoes because of how uncomfortable they are and how different the sizes run. These boots are far more comfortable than any other pair I have. I have a narrow foot and these do not look bulky. I will buy these again.

Fashionable work boots but functionality for industrial work is a no no. And W clearly does not stand for wide width. Also the toe guard rubs on the top of my toes and always leave with with blisters. Don't purchase if you'd be on your feet for long periods.

I was pleased to find a pair of steel toes (alloy) that were actually somewhat fashionable! They will allow me to dress up occasionally without having un-matching steel tennies on. The best part was that upon my initial try-on and wear around the house, the alloy toe did not cut into my foot, on the sides, as so many do. Very comfortable to walk and stand in. I will update if this changes, but so far I am very happy with my purchase!
