BOOST is a standard wheelset and drivetrain specification that provides an opportunity to improve the frame with shorter chain stays, wider and stiffer suspension pivots, a wider range of chainring options, and larger tires and wider, stiffer wheels.

The picture of this fork is misleading, this fork is actually tapered also ignore the remote in the picture as well it does not come with remote. Very misleading post…

First off I'll answer the questions I couldn't find answers for elsewhere.The tube is tapered. I fit mine in a Schwinn Axum using an FSA tapered headset kit. Everything fits perfect. That head tube is 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 tapered.This INCLUDES the remote lockout cable and switch. That might be obvious from the RL in the name but I had no clue.There's no instructions on how to install the remote but it's easy. Remove the plastic bit, unscrew the retaining screw a bit, put the plastic back on, route the cable in the hole and around the post and tighten. Literally the easiest thing ever. If it turns the lock half a turn you're good!I wish the fork came with documentation but I figured it out easy enough. It's extremely light and took a good amount of abuse flawlessly the first time I hit the trails. I absolutely recommend this if you can find a decent price.
