I had a Shimano 12x 121mm w/QR, installed it looked like it still had some threads to go even though it was installed all the way in, so I purchased the Maxle 125mm since I thought it would use all the threads in the fork. The wheel was still loose once installed. The Maxle 12x 118.5mm I thought would be to short as it turns out it is the one I need.

Bought this as a replacement axle for my carbon fork on a gravel bike. Nice, well made, and lightweight. Haven't had to adjust it or re-tighten it since installed, and it's cheaper than the version with a qr handle.

Needed a 125mm length maxle for my Niner RLT front fork. This is a direct replacement for the quick release style maxle that came with the bike. Its a cleaner look and adds a little theft protection. I'll still lock the wheel though. Read your current maxle for the measurements printed on it.
