i got these to fit under my tv on a three shelfing set up tvs on the top playstations are on the self beneth the tv and the 3ed self down is the pyle 80 watt amp the speakers fit nicely close to the playstations and they sound great so they can handale the power of my amp no problum how ever the box they came in was a little beat up and wen i shuck the speakers i heard some plastic or maybe i said it could also be cold sodier some times the sodier can let go so i open them and found that was not the problum it was just some small peacies of plastic from the casting of the plastic in side everthing elgs inside was all alright so i screwd them back together and shuck them no more niose all fixed i did this befor i hooked them up they do sound great

I needed these when one of the speakers in my surround sound system blew. They work really well, have a good sound and were a great price. I am not sure if they are weatherproof because they are hooked up indoors.

I hooked up 4 of these to a 320W Bluetooth amp on my back deck and patio below. Turned out to be a great combination for the level of sound I wanted. Loud enough to have some music going for parties and gatherings without annoying the neighbors. I can turn it up a lot more, but I don’t want the cops called or my neighbors hating me, haha!Good amount of bass for the size, and not tinny at all. I’m very impressed by the quality of the sound out of these speakers.My only concern is the weatherproofing in some of the holes, they seemed to only be loosely filled with some kind of thin batting material and could easily be accessed by bugs/wasps. I’ve got them tucked away under awnings and eaves, so they shouldn’t be affected too much by sun or precipitation. But the build quality seems solid enough that I’m not worried.Great value speakers! Give them a shot!

These speakers were purchased to replace an 18yr old set of Pyle speakers that were mounted under our eave on the rear of our house, so that we could have tunes playing while on our deck. These compact book-shelf type Rockville speakers are the perfect replacements, and didn't cost anywhere near the old ones. They have a nice deep bass, and killer treble and mid-range. I've connected them to a very nice (but older) Pioneer receiver that cranks out 200w per channel. So even on a volume setting of just 2 or 3, I can rock my whole backyard. Any higher and I'd be disturbing the neighbors!I would totally buy these speakers again- the quality is excellent, the sound is superior, and the cost is very budget friendly.
