We bought this for outdoor golf events where we have to make announcements at the beginning of the round as well as to announce winners and prizes at the end of the round. In addition, we also use it for Karaoke in the evenings. Using just a phone app and the Bluetooth on the speaker, this worked out better than expected.The sound is very loud, having no trouble carrying over the noise of 144 golfers at our tournaments. I'm not a sound guy, but the music we've played over the speakers sounded great to me, which is also a great use of these speakers.
