Your cart is empty. Introducing the Rockville RTB80A Powered Subwoofer Tube. We at Rockville just had to manufacture a high quality powered bass tube. Growing up one of my best friends bought a car and it had a powered bass tube in it. The sound that it produced was just amazing and I will never forget it. Bass tubes push out some of the punchiest bass available. I personally love punchy bass that is deep and clean. Bass is an integral part of any good audio system, and the Rockville Bass Blaster amplified subwoofer tubes will add power and impact to your car audio system. The cylindrical shape of the enclosure helps focus the motion of the bass pressure so it maximizes that punchy output from both the woofers face and the tuned rear aero port. Strong deep bass will fire through your vehicle for astounding results.
Since this is a powered bass tube, you get everything you need! This is your entire bass system. The built in power amplifier will push this tube to the max. The amp, sub and enclosure are perfectly tuned and matched to sound perfect together.
As far as power is concerned the RTB80A is a powerhouse. The compact package features a high power 8” woofer and 400-Watt amplifier that will literally shoot deep bass waves throughout your car. You can fine-tune the subwoofer with the built-in electronic low pass crossover so that your subwoofer meshes perfectly with the rest of your audio system. The built-in bass equalizer allows you to set in the exact amount of bass boost of up to 18dB’s @ 45Hz for real ground pounding bass.
Installation is a breeze! No need for building and wiring enclosures to amplifiers. Simply power, ground remote and send signal to the bass tube and you are ready to enjoy the most incredible bass you have ever heard.

Put in back seat of extended cab truck. Perfect fit under the seat. Great value for the price. Gives enough low end and punch in a small enclosed cab. BTW, Rockville support is awesome! I had a few novice questions for install and they were easy to talk to and have great recommendations for wiring and location.Highly recommend!

I didn’t need much bass, just wanted to feel a lil something w my music. Wanted to be the only one to enjoy it. Didn’t need everyone to hear it. Sounds good for everything I listen to and when I play COD on lunch. I got the 8” 400 watts and that is a good amount might try the bigger size for my suv

I have this in my side by side and it sounds ok but after playing for an hour or so it seems to get hot and shut down till it cools off.

Used recommended gauge wire. Sounds good for a few minutes, cuts off, comes back on, cuts off, comes back on. Seems to overheat easily.

Really unfortunate that deep bass can make the sub woofer hit it's own guard. I do not have the gain up all the way either. Does not look like there is a way to remove the metal guard easily either. Disappointed

The speaker does not come anymore with an adjustable volume knob. You need to use a phillips screwdriver to adjust where there was previously a knob. I guess you need to keep a small screwdriver in your console to adjust on the fly...Should have went with different brand.

Pros: Easy to install. Great mid-range bass. The amp does not get hot after hours of continuous use.I used the hi-pass inputs from the rear speakers of my vehicle.Cons: None so far.Make sure you know the length of power wire for your application in order to calculate the necessary gauge wire needed. Add an inline fuse near the battery to protect the circuit from shorts.The product shipped well protected and in perfect condition.

Beyond my expectations, was caught in- between this and the 10" version, but tuned right with a good source unit, is all this little VW krautmobile can handle, super tight and the more I gadget with the deck , the more this puts out, I have the gain at 2/3 and the low pass crossover all the way down..it hits hard and deep through thickf style backseat and frame..tight and thumpy, Love the looks and very affordable, I joined this with a factory component set and it sounds incredible..nuff said!!!
