My only recommendation would add $80 bucks and put perches on both sides. That way it can be over or under the springs. It’s a heck of a lot easier for a do it yourself to grind off the side they don’t need, or just leave them, than it is to purchase/weld on new ones. Other than that, the axle is great!

My new axle fit perfect. Everything lined up with the original brackets on my trailer. Excellent customer service. They called me before shipping to make sure the size was correct and then I called them with questions which they answered. Will definitely use the again and recommend them to everyone.

Really early shipping. Two separate shipments tho. The axle itself arrived unboxed and the dust caps were bent as if it got dropped. It did mot affect the tire placement.Installing was a bit tricky since there are no instructions so I had to rely on previous review pictures. I do suggest getting longer bolts and some washers. The length of the axle was good for my trailer size. 60” trailer width so I needed a 73”/58” kit. I was lucky enough I didnt have to weld anything.

I purchased this axle for my 2000 Camplite Pop-up Tent trailer. I ended up having to move the leaf spring assembly in 1” on both sides to fit the frame rails of my trailer. The welds were strong and put up a good fight! The U joints however, were not the same story. As I was taking the leaf springs off one nut got stuck on the u bolt and I ended up snapping the u bolt. The threads came damaged on a couple so I replaced them with standard ones. I planned to put much larger tires on the trailer as well so to play it safe I welded a 2” block in between the frame and the shackles for the axle. Sits a lot taller and towers a lot smoother. My trailer is no match for these springs. This thing is the real deal! Like I said though, for me some adjustments were required. I had to adjust the spring location on the axle tube and then I had to extend the shackle mounts on the frame to fit the new axle. Buy your own bolts, nuts, and lock washers and you’ll be good to go!

My husband ordered this to replace a broken axle on his box trailer. This is an excellent replacement. Very strong and durable and just what he needed.
