First, purchase the heavyweight version because the fabric is just thick enough to keep the body warm. Water wicking works, the elastic on the bottoms shrinks the most from washing, the rest of the fabric will slowly shrink after multiple washes, the stitching is of poor quality, the sizes for the tops tend to be too small compared to the bottoms that come in the pair, colors do not fade, whites are easy to stain. Overall, buy these if you're on a budget and are looking for something that is effective but will only last for several winters.

It kept me warm as far as I. The 30 degree range , but if you are looking for a super warm this is not it, it feels really soft but I am kinda cold natured,

I'm 6'3, 270lbs and usually wear 3XL shirts. I've learned to get thermals in 4XL because they tend to be tight fitting and ride up on me during the day. The 4XL gives me enough room without being overly bulky and gives me a little extra length to tuck in my pants. Glad I got these.. They are very comfortable and have held up well for multiple washes. Nice thin fleece lining inside keeps me warm under my work shirts. Most of the time I don't even need a jacket if I have this on under my work shirt. Would definitely recommend.
