I'm an avid skier and I've always wished I had one of these devices particularly for use when we're on a week-long ski trip where, after you've been out skiing all day, you absolutely need your gear to be fresh and dry the next morning. I never pulled the trigger before because I just wasn't sure that consumer-grade versions of these would hold up. Well, this year I caved and decided to give one a try, and this Rocky Mountain Goods brand boot and glove dryer was what I selected. I picked it because it has nearly every option you could imagine, and I liked the price. The only thing this doesn't have is an ozone feature, however so far I've been doing fine without that. This model is nice because they give you a pair of extension tubes for longer/taller boots. I don't need that with my traditional ski boots, but when my son comes out we may want them for his snowboarding style boots. The best part is that this boot dryer is stable on the floor. it doesn't tip over if you only put a pair of boots on it. So normally I get home, pop my ski boots on the side closest to the wall (which keeps them out of the way) and turn the dial to 60 minutes and it takes care of the rest. A+

Pretty good dryer. I like the rotating timer dial rather than the digital buttons on my Peets dryer. I wish it had a selectable fan-only or heat mode. The included risers give good options for longer boots. Overall it's a decent dryer, but shop around if you prefer a fan-only mode (nice for leather items that shouldn't necessarily be heated while drying).
