From the Manufacturer

“Blues Cube amplifiers are revolutionary and the Tone Capsule concept is brilliant. I’ve been working with Roland for over 40 years, and they’ve unlocked the secret to creating a guitar amplifier with superb features, extraordinary capabilities, and unmatched tone. Instead of spending hours modifying and tailoring the electronics to get the sound, features, and performance I need, all I have to do is plug in my Tone Capsule and the amp is instantly customized exactly the way I want it. I have been waiting for a guitar amplifier like this for a long, long time.”—Jeff “Skunk” Baxter

This tone capsule is outstanding for my tastes and I have the options to dirty up the sound with preamp and loop settings. Besides guitar sound, the very best is that I have a Roland AE20 wind synth. Using this capsule in my Artist 212 amp puts the AE20's sound into the absolute precise and clear universe I had only hoped for, and now, its not a hope but a reality. Over the top. Just absolutely over the top!!!

I was ready to sell the Blues Cube Stage amp, but this thingy saved it. Beautiful beautiful clean platform.

The Roland Blues Cube Artist is a pretty good sounding amp without a tone capsule. And I've never felt the need to get one. But I do play an archtop quite a bit and the promise of a more acoustic sound sold me on trying it. So.. yea.. it sounds good. Tried swapping in and out and definitely prefer the crisper sound. Happy with the purchase.

Having both the NY Blues and EJ Tone capsules I thought I'd try out the Sparkle capsule. What a difference it has made giving my Blues Cube Artist a great clear tone on the clean channel with typical vintage early Marshall type breakup on the crunch channel. I have a Marshall hardwired JTM45 in a Bluesbreaker 2x12 cab with KT66 tubes and when compared both amps sound almost identical. The Blues Cube has a slightly warmer bottom end which I actually prefer but that is probably due to the different speakers and cabinets. Also works great with pedals but that is to be expected. So if you've always hankered after that vintage Marshall Bluesbreaker tone then get this Sparkle Tone capsule into your Bluescube. You won't be disappointed.
