If it wasn't for a broken speaker, I would give it between 4 and 5 stars. Solidly built. Crisp sound out of non damaged speakers. I do like the readily available EQ and transpose sliders and buttons.

Liked: 4 speakers, buttons with deep menus, many options for 100 degrees of keystroke weight, ambiance options, simple access to connections, two size headphone jacks with option of on/off with speakers, metronome, etc , etc.After a year researching digital keyboard options, this FP-90x model justified itself as my ideal sound among the high end brand options. Can't go wrong with Japanese engineering and quality control.Adorama shipped promptly from TN. Packaged well. The Adorama extras cost no more. I then got a heavier Z-stand for this 50# model Note that the FP-90X package already includes the Roland pedal.Love this instrument. The grand pianos modeling is 1st rate. Unlike most digital keyboards, the Roland's playback of chords with a tie carry through four or more measures—something approximating what only a grand piano achieves.Have begun experimenting with advanced features of MIDI, Bluetooth, split/dual keyboard, orchestra overlays, recording, storage, and microphone.The Roland Android appl is convenient but not overly impressive. Keyboard buttons are faster with greater depth. Cord wires are more reliable than Bluetooth.

This is a top notch piano from a reputable maker. Unlike, the FP60, it does not contain a “band box” but similar sounds can be obtained (so say the directions) when the unit is connected to a tablet or iPhone. I have not done this yet. The price was comparable to most music stores which are not currently discounting this item. There are reviews on YouTube that are worth watching before you buy. The piano and accessories arrived in two days without any damage…and included a damper pedal in the piano packaging. The accessories are of average to below average quality.
