How to install the lens cover?

Installation Instructions:

  1. Place the lens hood on a flat surface.Align the lens cover 1 with the corresponding button location and firmly slide it into place. (The lens cover is designed with an anti-slip lining and may fit snugly, so please be patient during installation)
  2. Slide the lens cover 2 from the rear of the lens towards the front.
  3. Wrap the lens coat 3 around the function ring and fasten it with the Veicro.
  4. Slide the lens cover 4 from the rear of the lens towards the focus ring.
  5. Wrap the lens coat 5 around the Control panel and fasten it with the Velcro.
  6. Slide the lens cover 6 from the rear of the lens towards the lock ring.
  7. The lens cover 7 Is used only when the lens is extended. And it can also be placed around the middle of the lens for storage.

The product only includes lens coats and not including lens, camera body and tripod.

The extended part of the zoom can't be installed normally, it can't move after installation.But this part still needs a cover.It can be installed when the camera is squatting or the lens is fixed at the telephoto end.

The material and quality are very good except my piece 5 (the one that goes around the controls) is cut backward. The opening for the 2 switches is offset from radial center, and it's perfect if I install it camo side *in*. I contacted the seller and if they can send me a correctly cut piece 5 I would gladly give it 5 stars. Still waiting for a response after I sent them pictures per their request

It was easy to put on the lens, every piece was numbered, and I can count to 7 ;-) I like it better than other covers because the rims/seams are reinforced. They won't fray. They advertise "waterproof" which it won't be because water can still seep in between the seams, but you can put a simple plastic sleeve over parts #2 through #7, plus a rubber band at the lens bayonet and be protected.
