I love the exacting fit of the RolanPro. The feel of the material is different than other brands. It feels a mill thinner and more water resistant. It has a velcro flap that opens to allow you to access the focus, Memory and VR features of the lens and keeps them safely covered when not needed. The cammo colors are well produced and not at all too vividly bright like some cheaper brands. I won't hesitate to purchase this brand of lens cover going forward.

The Nikon 500mm f/5.6 VR PF lens has four unmarked AF Lock buttons on its upper section, all providing the same function. Rolanpro camo section 2 is supposed to be used on this area but only has a single hole, so it is not like for like fit. This is reasonably minor for me, as I would be inclined to use my thumb in the upper left button only.Worse though, the bottom Memory Set button will only be visible if you lock the lens collar in one specific position. In other words, the camo only shows the Memory Set button in the normal landscape orientation.As a result, I do not find the premium price justified.
