These have been fun for my daughter during the winter months. We have old flooring in our house and she skates all over to keep herself busy. They’re not the same as real roller skates, which wouldn’t work in our house anyhow. These are much better if you’re dealing with multiple floor types, like heelies. Because you can move between different surfaces. They’ve helped her get more confident in her regular skates too. I’m not sure how these compare to other shoes of this type, as I’m only familiar with adult styles. I had a bit of trouble figuring out the wheels at first and I’m not sure that she knows how to pop the wheels in and out. But, we just leave them in because she won’t wear them out (she doesn’t like the style). They’re great for what they are - a heelie-type skate shoe.

These were a gift for my daughter and she loves them. She wears around a size 13.5 in her normal shoe, so I went with a size 1 in this. They fit pretty good with maybe just a little bit of extra room. They are a little heavy, but that's to be expected with the weight of the wheels. You have the option of having two wheels on each shoe, or just one. Definitely worth the purchase for that busy body child.

These are cute. Sure if like the heelys my kids use to have. They’d be a lot better with the huge Velcro thing not there. That looks odd and gives it away as an off brand. They work as expected though. My seven year old loves them. A bit clunky but she’s happy. Not for everyday wear though.

These roller shoes on paper have everything you need for a nice roller shoe experience, but somehow the overall feeling does not add up. They come with clear instructions on how to put on, remove and hide rollers for the back and tip of the shoe. My kid was able to follow the instructions on his own (other than the popping of the front part which took a bit more effort on the first time). The lights are very pretty and colorful and are dream material for kids.The main problem unfortunately is the placement of the front wheel. In traditional skates, you have a natural movement of the feet where the front wheel/roller is closer to the tip. here they are closer to the middle of the sole and as such you would have to do an awkward movement with your feet full time parallel to the floor, like a penguin, to get going.The rollers have decent smoothness for using them in mall-like environments with polished floors, but feel they can chip in any other environment, which significantly limits the usefulness. Furthermore, I was expecting to receive at least one or two spare rollers in case the default ones break or wear, but unfortunately there was none.Overall I have mixed feelings about these shoes functionality as a roller shoe and I would not be able to recommend them.

My daughter loves these. If you are out and about you do have to carry the tool with you as well as the covers if your little one doesn't feel like having a wheel stuck out. I wish they would just both pop in easily without having to remove anything. With that said, the panels are easy to close and the back wheels are easy to pop in for me, but she has a tough time with it. My daughter is 6 for reference. I love that they light up, but it's hard to remember to charge them. They are chunky shoes, but my daughter hasn't complained of the comfort. She loves them. These were a great gift and would make a great birthday or Christmas present. I feel like they are going to make her more confident when she tries her roller skates again.

These are a little big so either size up or size down however you need to to have room to grow. But they are lightweight. I do wish the lights were in sync, but they’re not they’ll do their own thing. But for seven year-old, I don’t think she cares, they are super stylish and comfy. She wears them everywhere and after about two weeks of where they still look brand new.

This is a really good price for what you get here! It's very simple to turn these from a normal shoe to a skate. The colors and designs look sharp and it's very fun that the skates light up. I ordered my daughter's regular size and they fit her well. The wheels turn nice and smooth.
