Your cart is empty.Macroblade 80 ABT W addresses the biggest concern of most skaters...how do I stop? The ABT (Active Brake Technology) brake system provides control and stability for new skaters who need a little extra confidence and support when stopping. Traditional brakes work very well, but can be challenging for some to use. Skaters have to lift their toes up on the braking skate and roll on just a few of the wheels which creates some potential balance or control issues. ABT on the other hand is activated at the cuff and allows the skater to slide their braking foot forward to keep all eight wheels on the ground adding stability and enhancing balance during the braking process. This results in a smooth, gradual braking motion which instills more confidence in the skater. ABT is also height adjustable so as the brake pad wears down it can be lowered to enable the foot to slide forward the same distance every time for consistent stopping power and technique. The ABT system comes on the right skate but can be switched to the left one. Using the brake will be easy and comfortable because the Macroblade boot will blanket the feet in comfort from the performance mesh and the wheel/bearing set is ideal for skaters to have the right amount of speed and control.

In my opinion, a hard boot is the way to go- it’s easier to maneuver. And so not a fan, of this soft boot. The wheels seem to be fast which is good. The brake has a big draw back, I cannot do any fun turns or crossovers without the brake stopping me. The brake is in first position, at the highest. Maybe it’ll be better once the brake wears down. Also the brake apparatus is definitely ways down the right foot, which is my dominant foot. Overall, they’re okay. If you want a really safe skate and mostly do forward skating on paths this would be a good skate. I realized a different skate would have been better. I loved my advantage pro xt, but the cuff broke and the wheels were very worn out.

These are a gift and they arrived in excellent condition. Brand new, in the box and as advertised. The blades work well and hopefully will bring years of fun to my niece.

Seems to be a great quality skate but my toes are a little bit squished in the toe box & I don't want to be uncomfortable skating. My current Rollerblades are size 9 & I've always had to wear thick socks b/c they were a tad too big, so I was excited to see these available in half sizes. Sadly I didn't read the reviews and ordered the 8.5. I am returning for a size 9 but unfortunately the seller is charging $10 for a return label. 🙁

Love these rollerblades and the advanced braking technology, but it is definitely smaller than regular size. I regularly wear a size 8 and I had to return for a nine. The pretty color was a bonus.
