This is a fantastic rolling pin set!!! It comes with the rolling pin, mat and spacers. The roller is steel and a dream to use. The spacer rings are easy to clip on and they give you consistent thickness every time. You may need to roll smaller amounts of dough since you are limited to the width of the roller, but that is a small inconvenience compared to getting the perfect thickness with each batch. The silicone rolling mat is really nice and everything was super easy to hand wash. I'm very happy with it!!

This is just what I needed to up my pie-baking game. I mostly “best guessed” the thickness of a pie dough and used a ruler to check the diameter. The nested rings are great but they make storage a bit more challenging. I found the surface to be pretty non-stick but I am already used to flour dusting to prevent sticking. These are pretty easy to keep clean. I like the nice big handles and they are easy to grip. I will keep using my wood rolling pins but these are a good addition to the baking drawer.

The rolling pin is quite light in weight, and the handles are narrow and plastic. The axle is thin metal. I am not confident this will last long. As to the gimicky sizers on the side, I typically work dough wider than the rolling pin and they will get in the way.The pastry mat is very thin - barely thicker than a sheet of paper - glossy and has a tacky feel. I don't believe it is silicon, as I have a quality silicon mat, and it is much thicker, no tacky feel and is matte, not glossy. I got this set just to test it, and I am not impressed. A heavy wood or stone rolling pin works far better.

This rolling pin is dishwasher safe! It functions as it should as a regular rolling pin.The spacer rings do their job well. They need to be stacked together to get higher thickness and they stay in place as they should. It would be nicer to have a 3/8" size rather than jump from 1/4" to 1/2". I don't think I've ever needed to roll anything 1/2" thick.A 1/16" band would have been nice because rolling thin is more challenging.

This is a great rolling pin. The best feature are the thickness rings as they really help you roll your dough to the correct thickness. The roller is good sized and the handles are large enough to use comfortably. The pin surface is good but I needed to use flour to keep my dough from sticking. It has enough heft to make rolling easy. The only issue I had is that I ordered this on February 14 and it was delivered on April 19. This would be a five star item if it were delivered timely.

I love this rolling pin and thickness gauges for making thin, crisp holiday cookies like ginger snaps and hazelnut crisps. I've always struggled to get everything even when rolling out dough, and this makes it so I don't even have to think about it after I snap on the ring(s) I want. The rings allow you three different precise thicknesses for what you're making, from very thin to a regular cookie thickness. I haven't had any issues with them popping off during use, and in general, I have no complaints at all. I do find that if the dough is wide enough, it can get into the rings as it's pushed flat. Since I have to wash the rolling pin anyway, it's not really a big deal. The rolling pin itself is... fine. It does the job, but I find it's harder than a wooden roller to keep dusted with flour to prevent sticking. The metal just feels a little light to me, I guess.Overall, this is a great tool!
