I thought we are going to buy a new washing machine. The cover just won't lock anymore. So, watched youtube and saw this product in one of the repair videos. Saw the ease of replacing with a short time to do it. Bought one, delivered the following day and 25 minutes later, the washing machine is back to washing clothes. Thank you for the product. Cannot beat 25 dollars compared to a new washing machine.

I wash at least 10 loads of laundry per week due to my job. This part broke on my washer last week. This part at a local store would have cost me $100 to order through them. This price is much better! Easy to install. Works like a champ. Thank you for providing this product and saving me lots of money

Fit my amana washer nfw7200tw. Took two minutes to replace. Everyone else wanted $60 to $160 for it found it here for $28.

Looking at several install videos on youtube, all removed the tub rubber seal. I looked at the videos and in the top of my washer and decided I could remove the door lock thru the top of the washer without disturbing the seal. Unseat the connectors before unscrewing the lock from the front of the washer. Insert new lock mechanism, screw in place, then reseat the 3 connectors.

Pleased that this fairly complex replacement part was not very expensive. It installed easily, and it worked - repaired our Door Lock failure code and got our stacks of laundry rolling again. The original part failed after 15-1/2 years. The replacement part is starting to fail about 1 week past the 1-year warranty...funny how that happens more than you would imagine, right? I'll buy another one because it's a cheap, quick fix for a problem that would probably be a $400+ service call, but probably go with a different supplier/manufacturer.

After watching a YouTube video to determine the problem with my washing machine, i got the part number and I checked on Amazon and they had this part. I ordered it and it fit perfectly. Save a large service call by doing it myself.

I'm delighted that this part worked so well. I notice the sound of the washer door closing is a bit quieter and closes more easily than with the original part. I'm guessing the change is attributable to the difference between a part that was failing and a new piece. In any case, it installed easily and works beautifully! (Kudos to my son for handling this repair!) I'm thankful to be able to squeeze a little more life from our nearly 20 year old washer/dryer set!

The door lock mechanism arrived a day ahead of schedule so delivery was excellent. I had already removed the original door lock assembly and found a small broken piece likely causing it to fail. The new assembly was a perfect fit and since I the old one was already removed, the installation took less than 10 minutes. Tossed in some clothes, set the cycle and viola! The door lock worked! This part was a true perfect replacement.
