This is a beautiful piece but arrived broken in a box that was obviously damaged! Whoever shipped it knew it was broken and shipped it anyway.

These are beautiful crafted resin painted nesting dolls. They are true to the pictures. Unlike wood nesting dolls they are easy to pull apart and reassemble. I bought one set for myself this Christmas and loved them so much I bought another set for my mother in law as a gift.

The only complaint is the packaging. It is sooo cheaply packed. The styrofoam is the poorest quality I think I’ve ever seen! I bought these as a gift, so I unpackaged everything to look at it first. I was very careful to make sure I put everything back in the same slot that they came out of. I had a heck-of-a time putting them away. Pieces of the Styrofoam where just falling apart as you touch it.

I am thrilled with this. It is just beautiful - heavy and well-made. I collect nativity sets, and this is my new favorite. It is colorful and clever - I love opening each 'egg' and taking the nesting figures out and displaying them. The set contains Joseph, with Mary and Jesus nested inside; The three wise men nested together; and the farm animals that gathered around the Holy family. It's lovely and unique and I recommend it highly. It would also make a great gift. Mine came with no cracks or chips. Love it!

My husband collects nativities and after awhile it's hard to find something different. They all start looking the same. This was about as unique a take on a nativity scene as you can get. They were heavier than I expected, but that just means they are solidly made and not fragile. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something beyond the traditional.

This is a unique little nativity and I think my 9 year old granddaughter will love it. It is not intended as a toy but seems sturdy enough for an older child to play with and enjoy. I did have to return the first set I received - it was missing the Baby Jesus and the distributor would not just send the missing piece; I had to package up the entire set and return it to Amazon for a replacement. Both the first set and the replacement have some minor issues - fine lines almost like pencil tracings in the paint, which is unfortunately fairly noticeable on the faces, irregularities in the thickness of the rims where the pieces nest together so there is some wobbling, places where the paint on the top and bottom of the figures is a different shade. These do not significantly detract from the overall charm of the set. I do wish it was better packaged. There is an outer cardboard box that looked like it had been re-taped multiple times, with old dry tape under newer layers that criss-crossed all over the box. There is also an inner Styrofoam box with depressions for the figures. The Styrofoam is extremely thin and dry so that when I unpacked the pieces, the foam just crumbled apart. I will have to find some way to repackage it for gifting. Since most people do not leave Nativities out all year, it would be nice if this came in a protective box that could be used for storage.

This is a well-made, very nice nesting Nativity. It is larger than I expected, and also much heavier. I purchased this for our 5-year-old granddaughter as a Christmas present. Unfortunately, it is much too large and too heavy for little 5-year-old hands to manage. If I had been shopping for this item for myself, I would definitely keep it because the quality is excellent. Since I wasn't, and it's not appropriate for my granddaughter, I will probably return it.
