I like the pedestal however I didn’t realize the sundial in the picture wasn’t included. It does state the sundial is sold separately near the bottom. The pedestal is nice but made in India not America. The return was fair however it did cost me $20 for shipping.

The photo and descriptions of this item are quite accurate. I have a Rome B29 sundial, and now a Rome B19 pedestal, The sundial comes with a mounting bolt. When the pedestal arrived, I did not see how to mount the 'dial to the pedestal using the bolt. Well, it turns out that the pedestal comes with a rubber doo-dad covering the threaded mate to the sundial! Looks great, but the pedestal is light.

We were given as a gift the sundial, so ordered the pedestal. Nice simple design & complements our dial in the garden. Lighter than I would have expected, but attached securely & so far do good.

Warning - this is only for Rome sundials, it has a screw on the top custom to their own sundials so it won't be flat to hold another sundial.I immediately didn't like that it is advertised as having a moss green patina. The one I got was solid and ugly dark black. I wanted it ot match the gorgeous coloring of the sundial. It is very light in weight and hollow; I can'rt see a way to add sand or do something to make it more sturdy for wind. The sundials are quite heavy which make it, as a whole, top heavy and likely to fall over. I just can't see it holding up in one of our famous monsoon winds. To me, there is a large disparity in the style and textile of the stands (I ordered 2 different ones to compare) and of the sundials. I love the sundials, but the "cheaper" stands just won;t work in my case. Perhaps on a protected yet sunny patio?

Good base which fit the Grow Old With Me sundial perfectly. The bottom of the base is a little light though.

The description of this product gave it's weight, but when it arrived, it was lighter than I expected. The weight of the sundial holds it down, but the base is still partially buried in the garden. I bought it because I like the style, I still do. It looks great with the dial on top. I just wish it were heavier, it limits where it can be placed.

This looks perfect with the "Grow Old With Me" sundial. It adds that classy look for the front patio that I wanted to achieve. I've had lots of compliments on the combination. It was easy to attach to the sundial.
