This is an excellent cleat for small lines, e.g. small anchors lines on my layout duck boat, or furling lines on a sailboat to, say 27 feet. Ronstan quality is excellent at reasonable prices, and therefore highly recommended.

Its a nice enough product. Lets see how sun salt and heat affect it in years to come. As for the 3 stars, it doesnt merit 5 at it's price point. It cost $26 bucks!

These cam cleats are better than Harken, better grip, easier release, about the same going in, lower price. n These in particular I used as replacements for the old "fico" cleats on my Vagabond 14. I have others I like on the main sheet and on my RL24.
