Well made and straps had velcro to wrap up excess strap. Lots of room. You do need to stuff it good to keep it from flapping. Not sure about waterproof or not. Does have over flaps that covers zippers. Stays put. Nice storage bag to keep it in. Would recommend.

I really wanted to like this bag, everything seemed quality built. Unfortunately, they are using too small of a zipper gauge that could not handle being in a dusty environment on dirt roads in UT. Zipper teeth failed on the second day of a week long trip. Case in point the bag I used for years before, I never had a zipper issue because the gauge was a #10, the bag material failed which is why I was willing to try this one.

I used this for my drive to mexico, it is a 19 hour drive and it did super well. I love the quality of the fabric and the fact that it is waterproof helped. There are states in Mexico that we drove by that had some condensation/ or light rain and it kept all of our luggage dry. We were able to fit 3 medium size, 2 small, and plenty of smaller items around the luggage. With all of the straps it has it was easy to resize the fit to our needs. I will definitely recommend!

Used twice for two 7 hour trips to son's college. Loaded it up. It never moved an inch on the roof (Mazda CX-5)The product has good design, to avoid damage from pulling, and keep it from moving.Also, refolds into the bag in 5 minutes. Simple, and compact.Very strong. Will last a very long time. So far, absolutely no damage from two trips.Paid $200 last year; well worth it. Real bargain at the current $120.

A good and cheaper alternative. The material seems to be of good quality and once attached to roof it felt sturdy. No rips etc and we drove on highway for 8 hours.. Was however raining at one point and some water got through probably not through the material but maybe the zipper area. We had things that weren’t “water sensitive” so make sure whatever is going up there can get wet without being ruined.

We moved from Los Angeles to Wyoming in winter. We went through high winds, snow and rain. The straps came undone from the elastic ties on 4 out of 10 and I secured them in the doors. No issues! Car did not sway in the wind as being top heavy! Everything was dry!!! I put a padlock on the zippers and stayed overnight in a hotel with no issues. I did add a rope on top of the bag for extra security - but I do not believe I needed it. As to space, I filled 4 jumbo and 8 large vaccuum sealed bags as our baggage system, plus a 6 man tent and 20 pairs of boots! and a lunch bag filled with playstation gear controllers, chargers etc. I say again, dry and no movement! NO damage to car either. We have a limited 4runner and the bag sits behind the sunroof! We did need a ladder to get up on top of the vehicle... but I am short. My 8 year old took the bag off vehicle with out any assistance and we rolled it up and stored in garage for our next trip!

This was a necessary item for our trip. Although we didn't get much rain, there was never an issue with water getting in. It's somewhat easy to install except that it's best to have two people do it. If you don't have an empty truck bed to stand in, you will need a ladder on each side of the truck to be able to load your stuff inside it. It holds a LOT!!! We added a ratchet strap that ran over it and thru the windows for extra security in case the included straps didn't hold. Never had an issue with wind resistance or excessive noise. Definitely recommend.

This cargo bag is awesome! It performed exactly as advertised. It is huge and holds a lot of luggages, so that we have an extra space in the car.The straps with light reflecting maker our car more safety at night. The zipper is high quality and hides in a cover making it water proof. It was so easy to install. It only took me a few minutes. It does not need a roof tray either.This is a great value for the money and I am very satisfied with the performance of the pack. It worked fine without scratching my roof with it's anti-slip base and there was no noise.
