This does not stick very well, but if you are looking for gaffers tape that can be removed easier than normal, this is the stuff for you

I thought i would purchase this tape and save some $$ because it was for my personal use. But buyers beware cuz This stuff is horrible. If you plan on using this product as a professional gaffer forget about it. It's super thin has very little adhesive on it. You won't be able to tape cables and walk on the tape. And if you are trying to tape anything to carpet Don't bother cuz it won't stick.I got another roll of white coming we'll see if it's any good. But I'm assuming it will be the same.I guess you get what you pay for.

For tape that is durable yet removable, nothing beats gaff tape. Way better than duct tape or gorilla tape for indoor applications.

As a mobile DJ I use this tape to secure/mask cables on the floor, the glue is very strong and the most important thing ... it doesn't leave any residue or damage after removal. Definitely I will buy it again.

I use gaffer tape for securing wires when doing conferences and other activities. Most of these activities are short term, so the tape makes securing wires quick and easy. Removal after the event is also easy. Though this tape is pretty good, I can tell the difference between this and the brand I normally use, the latter being better. That's not to say that this tape won't do the job. It works well enough for my needs and will all get used. Being red, its applications are fewer than black when I don't want it to be noticed by the public. When that's not a concern, this tape is fine.My experience with gaffer tape to date is that it holds well for a few days, sometimes weeks, but eventually starts to come loose. I can't speak for how long this red tape would last, but the grip feels like it would last for a few days at least. The benefit of using this (or any) gaffers tape is that it's a quick and inexpensive way to secure wires and other items temporarily. It tears easy (no scissors needed), and it doesn't leave a residue. It's similar to using duct tape, but without the residue or longevity.

This is not the same quality as standard gaffer tape.I measured the thickness with a digital caliper and it is about 0.22 mm thick.Also it as not very sticky. I bought the grey roll. Sufficient for labelling, but not exceptional for much else.
