Easy to remove and install. Knocked out worn bushing with a metal drift punch. Gently hammered new ones in. No more issues. Make sure you remember to locate the flat section of the bushing under the grease fitting, or no grease will go into wheel. Purchased new axle bolts at same time and mowing deck is like new.

These gearings are much more robust than the replacement ball bearings you see offered. I have installed the ball bearings on solid rubber tires. The ball bearings fall apart after a few mowings. These solid bushings are working great, NO ISSUES!!!

Easy to install once the worn bearings have been knocked out. Good quality product and fit. Would recommend for replacing old and worn lawn tractor bearings.

I'm a hobby machinist. Parts work fine for what they are intended for. Purchase parts to repair my neighbors lawn tractor. The bearings were shot in the wheels hubs and this is a good replacement. No issues with product.

One of the easier replacements I've done on the old Craftsman LT1000. Hammer out the old ones, touch these with grease and tap them in. Put on the arms and add your grease, project done. 30 min max to do both wheels. Bearings were well formed, fit perfectly and work fine. I would suggest replacing soon rather than later since its such an easy job.

I replaced the regular Ball Bearings in the wheels of my SNAPPER Rear Engine Rider with these after having more than one ball bearing fail that I found was sold to me with NO grease in them. I would HIGHLY recommend installing these with/in a press where you can keep the bearing inline with the hub of the wheel while pressing in. I installed using a wood block and big hammer till the bearing flange was almost flush with the wheel hub, then I used a large socked from my tool set and hammer to drive the bearing in till the bearing flange was flush with wheel hub. Make sure when you install that the FLAT on the O.D. of the bearing faces the grease fitting as you install, the flat gives a space for the grease to flow into the wheel hub cavity after installation. Since the flanges of these bearings are thicker than the ball bearings you may have to remove ALL the washer/spacers that are used with the original design. I removed ALL of the washers that fit behind & on the outside of the wheel.These will fit the OLDER Snapper rear engine riders, PREVIOUS to the redesign by B&S called the RE_______ models.
