This tool does not cut .080 line. You can't even feed .080 line through the cutter to attempt to cut it.

The trimmer line cutter works fabulously and gets the job done with ease. However, $10 for a small piece of plastic feels way overpriced. It’s handy and does what it’s supposed to, but the cost is hard to justify for what it is.

It works great at cutting trimmer line, no effort at all. I think those that are revieing it poorly, might misunderstand stand how to use it. You just pinch the line in to a loop where you what to cut it, and insert the pinch loop into the opening and it effortlessly cuts it. The other nice part it is a 5-pack so you have extras if you loose or damage one.

I’ve read negative reviews on these type of cutters. Maybe they aren’t using them as instructed. They work perfectly and cut immediately, with no effort at all. Great tool.
