I’ve used vests like this for over forty years to accommodate my DSL Camera, GoPro Video Camera, iPads & accessories, First Aid Kits, Water, Protein Bars, etc.Over the past 18-months I lost over 100 lbs. & all my other vests were huge on me. I have tried numerous vest - from Amazon, Photograph Supply Stores, etc. -but could find one that was exactly what I was looking for, was comfortable, made from quality materials, was sturdy, and not ridiculously priced.I’ve used this twice in my travels and was greatly impressed by the comfort level and large amount of items it held.I would buy it again and/or recommend this to anyone!

I like the fact that it is as advertised, and it fits me correctly and I enjoy the ventilation. What I don't like is that there a lot of loose threads to pick out and to cut off. Also, I would have liked the front pocket to be a bit bigger, I use the vest to carry art supplies, so I'm more or less forced to use the back pocket to carry my sketchbook, I knew the size of the pockets so I'm not complaining, it is only an observation, otherwise the vest is good and I'm able to use it for what I got it for. All my art supplies are reduced in size to fit in the vest's pockets so I'm satisfied, worth the money.

Ripped in multiple places first time I wore it. As if it were made of papyrus. Shame…great design and look.

Happy I ordered this vest. Pockets galore. Especially like the large pocket across the back. I wear this while hiking and I can easily carry 3-4 bottles of water back there. Also like the top left pocket. It closes with Velcro but also has a secure clip inside that I attach my car keys to. I was also looking for something that would cover a firearm in a holster on my hip while in the back country, and it does that. I'm 5'7, 160, and medium fits me perfectly. Cotton vest is very wearable and has a well worn look and feel to it.

I needed to replace my old Domke vest and made this purchase. I have not worn it yet on location but it appears to be sturdily made. My old vest had webbing over the shoulders and this one does not so I suspect it will be considerably hotter on warm days. These vests look kind of dorky but are really essential for serious photographers. Without all those pockets it is entirely too easy to lose filters, lens caps,. I even carry a lens or two in mine typically with water ion the back to save on not using my pack all the timer.Some reviewers commented on the sizes being large, but the medium seems fine to me. You don't want something too fitted on your location hikes and I am often wearing a fleece jacket or other garment underneath.

I expected more from.this vest but probably shouldnt have. it has held together and done what it was designed for, the velcro has gotten packed with lint and stopped working as i expected it would, the fabric and stitching is not verry durable and a few seams.of overloaded pockets have come out, got a few tears.another odd note is that when i recieved it all the pockets had allot of fine sand in them.

This item is even better than it looks. I've just returned from camping in Yosemite National Park and wore it everyday. In my hat and vest and with hiking stick in hand, I was mistaken for a park ranger on numerous occasions...lol The vest is very professional looking. It has lots of pockets and is very comfortable to wear and the price was right!

I gave this vest to a (female) friend who loves to take photos and wanted a place to carry all her "stuff" without hauling around a bag - It works well for her and she loves it. She was especially happy about all the pockets of different sizes and says she may never need to carry a bag again. The "collar" is brilliant - so comfortable as extra padding for camera neck strap.I wanted one for myself but unisex sizing absolutely does not work for me, nor most my friends - I wish manufacturers would realize that men and women come in different shapes and for most of us gals - unisex means no purchase.
