Rothco has done it again. This jacket is awesome and looks great. I am 6’2 and bought the XL. The jacket hangs down to just below my knees which is exactly what I was looking for. You can wear a warmer garment under this or just a t-shirt snd still be comfortable.I have bought several Rothco garments and they are all great. I recommend this jacket.

Coat is thin, sleeves are way too short, I bought a 2xl and could barely get it zipped. Normally I wear xl tall from other companies. Cheap brass zipper, when I purchased it the image showed a self lubricating ykk zipper. Don't waste your money.

The Rothco M-51 Parka is described as military size, it is not. The M-51 was designed to fit over the following U.S. Army cold weather layer system: TShirt and drawers, long john top and bottom, wool shirt and trousers, field jacket and liner, and parka liner. Comparing the Rothco woodland to M-51 issued Parkas, it's chest size is closer to a large then an XXL. As for what it is suppose to fit over, you no doubt have to include the body armor system of the time, the M1953 system. Attached is a photo of an issued M51 size LARGE 41" to 45", and the chest measures out wider then the woodland XXL.

Great jacket. You get exactly what you’re expecting. *** unless you plan on wearing tons of gear underneath, buy a size smaller. It states that, we did that, and it’s perfect.

Please kindly keep in mind that Rothco's M-51 Fishtail Parkas are made to military specifications. Designed to be worn over heavy military uniforms (i.e. coat, sweater etc.), M-51 Fishtail Parkas are considerably oversized in comparison with their listed measurements.- For wearing in extremely cold conditions over a coat; order ONE size DOWN.- For wearing in over a shirt or sweater only; order TWO sizes DOWN.Again, these M-51 Fishtail Parkas are NOT true to size and made to military specifications—after purchasing 3 separate M-51 Fishtail Parkas to get my actual size, I would say the sizing is really as follows according to retail sizing:Listed - ActualXS > MS > LM > XLL > XXLXL > XXXLXXL > XXXXLFor instance, I'm a LARGE but a SMALL in this item; hope this helps.

This is the cold weather outerwear that go's over the rothco vintage N-3B OD Parka.It is just the outer exstream shell.It buttons around the hood only.It works very well with my vintage parka.It is thin, but it keeps the wind out.What ever size parka you have, buy the same size shell . I did and it fit perfectly.
