Does not fit honda pioneer 1000 5 electrical terminals in the way of bumper mount and no way to rotate without voiding warranty tech support was no help do not buy rough country

Got stuck in some mud with my pioneer 1000. Four-wheel drive locked and was just spinning all wheels. Attached the winch to a tree straight ahead, and even with that and all wheels pushing could not even get out. Ended up having to get a bunch of rocks to fill the mud holes on each wheel and finally found some traction to reverse out of it.... It did not AT ALL feel like 4500lbs of pulling capacity. I was almost able to hinder it from pulling just with my weight and strength. And this thing is supposed to pull 4,500 lb and help you get unstuck? No way. Thank God I figured my way out of that situation, but this winch is garbage.

So I called Rough Country customer service to get help installing the winch bracket. On one call I was on hold for 6 minutes before AJ picked up. On another call I tried to explain that their Amazon store has the wrong description of the product. He was rude & said it wasn’t his problem. It’s not my problem now either. Amazon has graciously accepted the return & I will not buy any products for my farm or off road vehicles from RC!
