Impurities in the stones can make them blue, orange, yellow, green, or purple. In their blue form, the stones are known as sapphires, while all the other colors are "fancy sapphires." Ruby's red color comes from its mineral content of Chromium. The more in the stone, the darker the red. Blue colors come from iron and titanium. Ruby is the birthstone of July. It is very hard stone with a mohs of 9.0, making it one of the hardest gems known

Trash there not sapphire's or Ruby's they are just junk corundum and looks very synthetic to me it's all a blue white color and turns pink when any light is shined through it.

Got lots of nice pieces, that one showed green color and other one showed light blue and orange color, all those little angles called Corundum. Highly recommend.

Some have stated they see different colors and clear crystal and act as if they hit the motherload! The title plainly says rubies! That is why I ordered. If they are true rubies you can shine a black light on them and they will glow bright red! A plain white flashlight will not work. If you see bright clear colors with a white flashlight they are not corundum rubies! And chances are you got ripped! If you want bright clear colors try quartz or other abundant and cheap rocks or gems. And you will not even have to wash a real ruby to see bright red with a black lights. Check me out and see if I am not telling you the truth! Be careful. I am ordering mine and if they don’t pass the black light test, RETURNO!!!

At first it appeared as small pebbles with a couple usable chunks till i cleaned them up and found a nice chunk of what appears to be solid crystal broken off a larger one approximately 1/2 to 3/4 inch in size...definitely worth the money.
