Hangers and mounting plates are a must for my basement refinishing project and I could not be happier with these plates. These plates make fitting my various-sized ceiling lights so much easier. The plates accommodate different sizes and one box of these plates are enough to cover my entire project. The're reasonably priced so I don't have to waste time penny-pinching and looking for affordable options.

Used these to install some of those Ultra Thin LED Wafer lights that I had leftover in my basement. These work great and can span the space between the floor joists perfectly. They are adjustable to different sized gaps depending on your joist spacing. Has knockouts for many different size LEDs, but I just used the 6-inch knockout since that is the size of lights I had. Works well and also looks pretty good. Easy to use and build quality feels pretty good. It is just stamped sheet metal, but it gets the job done.

This review is for the round recessed lighting plate for new construction 6 pack, at a price of $87.99.I obtained these to use when redoing the soffit and front porch ceiling of my house. This is a 6 pack of recessed lighting mounting plates used for new construction. The mounting bars have a width range of 13.75" to 25.88". The plate has a label on it indicating the make and model as "Luxrite LR41010". The hole sizes specified (in inches) as "2, 3, 3.25, 3.75, 4, 5, 6" have actual sizes (in mm) of "54, 72, 82, 95, 110, 132, 160" respectively.As expected, these have a bit of an inability to stack due to their design, so they arrived with some of the mounting tabs bent. It was easy for me to straighten these out and return them to a usable state. The sheet metal plate feels durable enough to easily hold a retrofit-style recessed light housing. The Luxrite spec sheet for this (available on the Internet) has a list of officially compatible housings that fit this, although most any standard-sized remodel/retrofit housings should work fine with this.Overall, I am satisfied with these and I feel these should work great for my project.
