Put an inch of 16" diameter upholstery foam underneath and they fit our hardwood stools perfectly. We've used them about a year so far, around our kitchen island, and they are used at meals every day. There is no noticeable wear, and they do not slide off or even look dirty! Haven't tried to wash them yet. Maybe next year. Would definitely purchase again.

I have a seat designed for a makeup table but it meets my needs for a small desk. The seat is deeper than what these covers are designed for but the elastic is strong enough to hold to the seat with ease. And, because there are two, I can immediately replace one with the other when it comes time to wash one of them.

I really love this seat stool seat cover. The original vinyl on the seat of my stool was starting to look worn and had a couple small holes. The rest of the stool was still in great shape, so I hated to get rid of it. That's when I decided to look into a seat cover and this seat cover worked perfectly! The fabric is very soft and has kind of a ribbed pattern to it. The great thing is that it fits my stool perfectly. My stool measures about 14.5 inches in diameter and this seat cover is large enough to completely cover the seat and the elastic holds it in place very well. I definitely recommend this if you have a stool that needs a cover or just want some added protection.
