In harsh environments such as high salt and rain, the corrosion rate of products remains stable. The excellent SUS304 material with high rust resistance can avoid dangerous situations (not lock tight, objects falling)
Points to note when installing U-bolts:
①The friction surface of the components treated before installation should ensure that no debris such as oil, dirt, etc. is allowed to be stained during installation.
②The surface around the U-bolts bolt hole and the nut surface should be flat and free of burrs, otherwise it will affect the even force of the flat washers.
③Strictly check the deformation of the connected steel plates before installation. It is forbidden to hammer into the bolts to prevent damage to the bolt threads.
④During installation, the friction surface of the module should be kept dry and should not be operated in the rain

While the "U" bolts do appear to be high quality stainless steel, the size listing threw me off. They were listed as "3-1/2", but I failed to notice in the listing that the measurement was "inside to inside" of the "U". I thought that "U" bolts were measured "center to center" of the bolts. The stainless steel is stiff and I am unable to bend it to close the opening. Even though they are as advertised, they won't work for my project.

These are perfect for my use ( attaching a latch mechanism to my driveway entry gate ) heavy duty and appear well made.
