I like the corners that are really reinforced so they can really be straped down tightly.

The outside fastening lines are constructed out of cable (not rope) making this a very strong sun shade.

I've purchased at least 6 big sails in the past 3 years. None compare to this product, the sail is completely outlined with a strong steele cable, the others use nylon, no comparison. Spend the few extra bucks and buy this one!

We got two of these. Sunk some poles and had a perfect summer. Not too much sun and a breezy much cooler lounging place. The result was…more enjoyment in our back yard. Huzzah!!

I purchased this sail to replace a 16’ sail hoping to get a couple extra feet of coverage and sturdier construction. The Good:1. Sail definitely is well constructed and should withstand the elements well. Had a major storm blow through within a week of installation, 40 to 50 mph wind gusts and no issues.2. Steel corner clamps on fabric and perimeter cables, much stronger than typical sewn fabric and D-ring sails.3. Fabric density is much greater than cheaper sails and provides better sun protection. The bad:1. This sail is nowhere close to 18’. Not sure who’s measuring, but the cable extension beyond corners of fabric should not be considered part of 18’ triangle. Once installed, corner to corner of fabric was under 17’. If I had known that before purchasing, I would have looking at other sails providing a full 18’ of coverage. I replaced a 16’ sail with 3years of service and still going strong, that cost half this sail. Should have left well enough alone.2. The cable extensions at corners provides no coverage and actually complicated installation. Would much prefer a full 18’ of coverage and no cable extension. Much easier to control position and coverage of sail.Update: April 17, 2024Well I finally figured out the sail was not properly stretched at factory when made and sail fabric was not stretch to the full 18’x18’x18’ size. See first photo of excess cable as shipped. Using chain to stretch sail fabric, I was able to finally stretch sail fabric to take up excess cable and install sail to its full size. However, this took almost an hour and a half of stretching and loosing the sail before all cable was properly positioned and sail was the full 18’x18’x18’. It was like installing the sail 6 to 8 times before it finally stretched to full size. This could have been avoided if factory had stretched sail to full size to take up excess cable so it was properly seated as shown in the advertisement. So to recap, sail quality is best I have seen on Amazon and worth the extra cost. Sail withstood major storm with 40 to 50 mph winds within a week of installation with no visible damage. So 5 stars for quality. However, because of shipping condition of sail and installation difficulty that gets a 1. If you don’t want to deal with a difficult installation, look elsewhere. I have purchased simple D-ring replacement sails on Amazon that installed in 15 minutes.
