UPDATE: 6-11-24. I've been using this now for several months and absolutely love it! It is one of those rare things that are simple and super easy to use and really improve your life. I still haven't timed it yet, but it definitely speeds up the defrosting process substantially. Plus, it has a really good, non-stick coating on it and clean up takes just a few seconds. I still use this several times a week and love it! One of these days I will time how long it takes to defrost a thick piece of meat and let you know. Great product!I couldn’t give you a time frame on how much quicker this defrosts meat, but it definitely speeds up the process. I’m constantly forgetting to defrost meat and I’ll slap something on this and two hours later give or take, it’s ready to cook. Love it!I also love the nonstick surface. It makes cleanup a breeze. It also has a silicone edge all around it that keeps the meat juices on the pan. The silicone edge has 4 little nub feet that elevates the sheet enough for air to circulate underneath which I assume speeds up the process. It’s sort of like the bumper guard you get for your phone and it comes off easily for cleaning if you’re so inclined.I also like the large size. It easily would fit two nice sized chops, steaks or breasts. I’m single so I have not needed the extra real estate, but it’s nice to have and for a couple it’s perfect.Really, quite a simple and great device. Who knew? 🤷♂️. I use it almost every day and I love it!

My mom had one of these when I was a kid, and I grew tired of my wife thawing frozen food on our dish towels on the counter all day. She didn’t believe that it would do what she wanted it to do, but has become a true believer. Thaw time is incredibly short and it’s very effective. Works on anything frozen and does a magnificent job!

I had low expectations but this thing totally works! A couple chicken breast only took maybe 1 hour from fully frozen thaw. Also it seems to thaw equally which is awesome.

I purchased this and was skeptical. I purchased 2 types of these. This one and one that was just the metal plate and didn't have a silicone edge with feet. I definitely like this one the best, just because the little silicone strip (with nub feet) really help it to stay still on the counter and lifts it up just a tad - I think this helps with air flow under it (?) I put on 2 frozen burger patties on it. It will only fit 2 burgers, so it's not huge. If you have a large family or large amount of thawing meat to do, you'll need to purchase several. The patties were about 3/8" thick. They took 1 hour and were fully thawed. I did flip them once, as suggested. So, it works. I would recommend this one with the silicone edge and nob feet. HAND WASH ONLY - per their advice. So I spray with an antibacterial spray (let it set for a few minutes) and then wash with soap and hot water - since we are talking about raw meat. Do wish I could put in the dishwasher. I think it's because of the nonstick like coating (?) not sure. Hope it lasts with careful care. Time will tell, so I always add that I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful!
