Null Modem is where 2 - 3 and 3 - 2 - these do not. They are straight through 2-2 and 3-3

These are nice little gender changer adapters. However, when you're working with serial connections, you frequently have to remove the screws from one side or the other. With these gender changers, if you remove the screws the whole adapter falls apart. I've had several of these over the years. None of them - except these ones - fall apart with the screws removed. A little glue would have held them together, and I suggest that you glue yours. If you mistakenly allow them to fall apart, they're quite fiddly to get back together - that is IF you can find all of the pins.

I love these lights for my craft projects. So far used them for a fake fireplace and wine bottle lights. So far so good - they work great.

Extremely bright and very pretty. Bought the 2 pack for a halloween costume for a little something extra. 1 was used, as the other one had a wire break in the battery pack while I was attaching it to the costume. It was subjected to pouring rain and kept right on working. I would recommend this and buy it again. We will just be a little more careful when manipulating the wire.
