Directions are very well laid out but it is still a pain in the a** to assemble with the small screws inside and it is difficult to get them tight. I am very disappointed the chambers are not sealed,, while one is composting the other will be leaking into it. I was expecting the plastic pieces that make up the barrel to be thicker and more rigid. The handle is functional but not what I was expecting. The box was missing some Hardware that I had to go to Ace and pick up to finish assembly. After all this work the damn thing better not leak!If the barrel side pieces were thicker plastic, the chambers were sealed from each other and the screws were larger and easier to access this would be great but I expected more for the price.

So far so good as far as using this. Will need a couple of months to see how compost turns out, but this fits our small garden. High quality parts and being able to rotate easily is fabulous. One star missing due to assembly. I (66 year old woman with tools) was able to put most of this together by myself. BUT did need a bit of help from husband to hold things together. This is a project and should not be done when tired, after a drink (save that glass of champagne for afterward . . . you will have earned it), cranky, or fighting with S.O. It took about two hours and I'm good at putting stuff together. Just factor that in when considering. I did when I bought it . . . but it will be a bit scary for those not into assembling things.

The two chambers for newer and older compost work well for "pre-cooking" kitchen scraps before adding to our larger outdoor compost pile made up of general yard waste.

Works pretty well. Easy to use and easy to set up. My only complaint would be that the 2 sides aren’t completely sealed off from one another so you get some spillover from one side to the other. Very minimal spill over. Overall it’s sturdy and well made

This might be just okay for someone just beginning to make their own compost, however the quality was not the best. One reason I bought it was that it had a handle to turn it, but when I did that and stopped the handle came flying back and I probably have a bruise now. There is a piece that might be intended to be a brake so that that didn't happen, but it for sure did not work. I wish I would have just sent it back before it was put together and dirty! Too late so I'm just giving it away! I for sure wouldn't try to sell it for what I paid for it because it is NOT worth it!

This is made of a heavy plastic not the flimsy type others are made of. It was easy to put together.Great product for the price and a good size. Not too big, not too small.
