The RSPro Smart Nose Saver is an innovative protective accessory designed for SUP boards, foil boards, surfboards and other watercraft. Made from a soft and flexible material, it has the unique ability to absorb and disperse the force of impact. When compressed during an impact, the molecules in the material lock together, providing a higher level of protection for the nose of the board. This feature helps prevent damage from collisions or accidental drops, extending the lifespan of the board and maintaining its performance. Designed & manufactured in Barcelona, Spain.

This is a very versatile nose guard that should fit most boards that aren't pointy-nose performance shortboards. I ride a JS Flame Fish and had a hard time finding a nose guard that fit nicely because it's more of a hybrid nose shape. I also use this guard on my micro longboard and have a friend who uses this on his foil board. So far, no issues with any of those boards. The nose guard will seem pretty thick out of the box, but that's because it's designed to be stretched over the nose. You need to take the time to make sure you apply it right the first time because the adhesive is strong and probably won't hold as well if peeled off and reapplied. The best way to describe the material is like foamy neoprene. It's got a decent amount of grip to it, and the surface feels like if a traction pad were glossy. There are instructions on how to apply it, and the technique that worked best for me is to align the guard and press it down only onto the tip of the nose first once centered, then grab both "arms" about an inch or so in front of the rounded ends and stretch them into place, rather than grabbing the tips of the edges themselves - this ensures that tension isn't focused on the edges of the guard so that it doesn't start peeling back at the edges. I also found that stretching both sides at the same time works better than trying to do one side at a time. As far as how much to stretch the guard, that will be dependent on the board and personal preference, but the more it's stretched, the thinner the protection.
