Applied this to the clarinet and it slips off with normal use. Had to reinforce the fit using a strand of floss. It still slips off but going to work with it for now. The slot would fit normally if only slightly smaller/more snug. Material has plenty of "give" to it; if the opening was refined to a little smaller on arrival it would fit and stay on without the issue. Only the bottom tab bit is made to fit and the upper portion just sits atop the instrument with no way to adhere as is. Design needs improved a tad. Otherwise thick and comfortable enough material works ok for the purpose of comfort during long practice sessions.
