Very Heavy duty. We have heavy wind and often our old lids would get blown away or across the yard due to the garbage company putting them on the ground versus putting securely back on the can.

Fits my bin, is durable, and price was fine. One issue is it is a bit warped, which does not allow a proper close to my liking. This might be okay for certain applications, but what I use the bin for (shredded cardboard storage for composting) I worry contents might get wet.

Who knew you had to buy garbage cans lids separately. Pre-Pandemic when the wind took one of my lids,the store gave me one free. No more, the won't even sell you one without the can. This one did the trick. I have now put my house # on lids and cans so hopefully they will find their way home again.

offers a positive lock on the barrel - something the original lid did not - see the pictures. I know some people complained about the flat top, BUT, it has no trouble shedding pine straw and water for me. It is holding up well to 20-30 degree weather used as a top for a firewood barrel. I can't say if the top will last decades, BUT, I am pleased enough that I ordered more. It is made of a much heavier plastic then the lids that came with the barrels from the big box store.

The recycle people who serve my community have all two of my lids blow away after emptying the recycle bend... i couldn't find a replacement lid in stores unless i purchased a complete can and lid combo... finding this lid on Amazon was great and now i don't have to worry about my can loading up with water when it rain. it fit snug and easy to remove... i only hope i can keep up with the lid after the refuge people throw it on the ground.
